Welcome

Hello friends!

Let's catch up. This website has changed focus many times. Originally the concept for my blog was: Reading plays & writing down my ideas, performing monologues/scenes, & sharing all I'm involved in theatre-wise. However, since Covid-19 has limited everything, I've decided I need a more un-limited space. So I've branched out.

I re-read my About Me tab, which at the end includes my personal mission statement, "...To inspire, create, & help spread the vibrancy of life with art." So with that in mind, let's dive into what this new blog will look like.

The first category, "I Play In Peoria" will include what I've been up to in theatre, including plays I'm reading, show's I'm working on, & any special events. In the future this may include filmed reels as well.

My second category, "Show Reviews" is just what it sounds like. I read or watch professional theatre productions & write my reviews afterwards. It's mostly for my own memories & enjoyment--however it remains my most requested blog topic.

My third category, "Upcoming Projects" is for me to showcase what's coming up next for me. This will be solely focused on theatre, but will include both acting & backstage roles.

My fourth & fifth categories are both self-explanatory. "Acting Portfolio" highlights shows I've performed in, & "Costumes Portfolio" highlights costumes, hair, & makeup I've designed.

My final category, "Other Reviews" is my catch-all for everything else I've been enjoying. I've written book reviews, tv show reviews, movie reviews, video game reviews, etc. & I'm sure I'll continue to branch out more & more with it.

New posts go up the second & fourth Saturdays of every month at 11:00 AM Central Time. I may also have a bonus post go up the third Wednesday of the month also at 11:00 AM. If you're keen on what I'm up to, it's definitely in your best interest to add your email; that way you'll get notified of each new post.

And as always, if you have any suggestions for me, or comments you'd like to add, please let me know. I truly love & appreciate all feedback.
