One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

Assistant Costume Designer, Assistant Hair & Makeup, Jul 2015 – Oct 2015

I was one of two assistant costume designers for the Illinois State University's fall 2015 production of the drama One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

As the assistant costume designer I researched historical and evocative images of dress for the time period, measured the actors & helped them get fitted, created props to be worn such as straight jackets & bloody bandages, pulled costumes from stock & ordered costume pieces we needed, sorted out & created all of the paperwork for the costumes, and helped initially teach them how to apply gore/theatrical stage makeup.
