Let's Watch: The Queen's Gambit

Hello friends!

Let's catch up. This seven part mini-series has been out a while on Netflix, & has taken home a few awards as well. The story follows orphaned Elizabeth Harmon, as she discovers her love & talent for chess.

Throughout each episode we watch her grow as a person, & as an avid chess player. Competition after competition keeps the suspense high, & the audience is taken on a whirlwind journey of emotions as she discovers who she is & finds her place in the world.

This show was written in such a way that you can know absolutely nothing about chess & still love & admire it. It's incredibly well acted, & a very moving story altogether. I personally find it even better than Netflix's other main original series, Stranger Things.
