Let's Watch: Crime Scene

Hello friends!

Let's catch up. The full title of this Netflix show is Crime Scene: The Vanishing At The Cecil Hotel. This series is in 4 parts, & each really explore a new angle to this early 2000's real life mystery.

The documentary highlights events that shook the entire world as it unfolded. It centers around the infamous Cecil Hotel, & brings to light the disappearance of a 21 year old tourist named Elisa Lam.

Elisa had decided to take a trip to visit various parts in California, & was halfway through the trip when she disappeared. At one point, 18 LAPD detectives were all searching for her, & since leads kept coming up as dead ends, internet sleuths became involved.

Detectives, hotel employees, & random internet sleuths are all interviewed in this series, & present many theories on what happened to her. It really is eye-opening, & heartbreaking as well. But don't worry, this story does have an ending.

I'm guessing this "Crime Scene" series might feature more mysteries in the future. With this one being so well done, I can only hope.
